French Cooking Class: Un Pique-Nique Français

Alliance Française Central Queensland is delighted to welcome back Chef Adrian, who has led our previous French Cooking Classes, for a hands-on culinary experience celebrating the traditions of a French pique-nique.

Working together in a professional kitchen at Wilby's Training Restaurant, participants will prepare a selection of French picnic favourites including pâté, fresh salad, bread and pickles. Along the way, Chef Adrian will share techniques and tips to help bring these dishes to life.

Once the cooking is complete, participants will gather to enjoy the meal they have created together, accompanied by French cheeses and wine in the spirit of a relaxed and convivial French pique-nique.

The class will be conducted in English and is suitable for all experience levels, from confident home cooks to complete beginners.

1. Tickets to AFCQ events may be refunded or partially refunded. Refund requests must be made in writing. 

2. Refund requests for specific events requiring catering and/or accommodation will only be accepted prior to the final confirmation date required by the venue or supplier. 

3. For Le Bon Weekend, the accommodation component may be refunded prior to the final confirmation with the venue. After this date a partial refund excluding the accommodation component may be offered where appropriate.

4. If an event is cancelled by Alliance Française CQ, all event fees paid will be refunded in full.

Alliance Française CQ reserves the right to refuse membership or participation, or to remove a person from a class or event, where behaviour is disruptive, unsafe, or inconsistent with the values of the organisation.
